Badgers Cricket Club – Season 2026 Detailed Scorecards

I have never been entirely happy with the scorecard information presented out of the Badgers database and now that I am processing every game in full through my scorecard checker it seemed worthwhile to generate a more complete display for each game, featuring all of the information that I can usefully include. As ever I would welcome any suggestions as to improvements in the layout or additional information that could appear here. Most of the abbreviations used below should be familiar to cricket lovers everywhere, but just in case:

B or b: Byes (listed against Extras)
b.: Bowled
BF: Balls faced
ct.: Caught
DNB: Did Not Bat
Econ: Economy rate (runs allowed per over bowled)
LB or lb: Leg byes (listed against Extras)
LBW: Leg Before Wicket
Md.: Maiden overs (ie. number of completed overs from which no runs were scored from the bat)
NB or nb: No balls (listed against Extras)
Ov.: Overs bowled
pen: Penalty runs (listed against Extras)
RA: Runs allowed
ret. no.: Retired not out (usually a batter who retired hurt and did not resume their innings)
ret. out: Retired (for reasons that obviate a retired not out)
ro.: Run out
RS: Runs scored
SR: Strike rate (expressed as runs per one hundred balls)
st.: Stumped
W, wd or Wd: Wides (listed against Extras)
Wk.: Wickets taken
0s: Number of dot balls faced or delivered
4s: Number of boundary fours hit or conceded
6s: Number of boundary sixes hit or conceded
