| Even more so than the picture of Alan in this pair, I find it really tough to identify Dave Tickner as the figure in this photograph. In fact, to my eyes it looks more like David Winter, but Alan assures me that it is his brother. I believe that the two pictures were taken on the same day, so I’ve no idea of the exact date, but it too must be from the very early seventies, or from 1969 which was the Tickner brothers’ first season for the Badgers. | |
