| I have no indication of exactly when it was taken, but this B&W photograph must date back to the very early seventies, possibly even to 1969 which was the first season that the Tickner brothers played for the Badgers. I can tell you that this is definitely on ‘pitch 2’ at Rose Hill, that it really is Alan Tickner (no, I’m not sure I believe it either but it is easier to cope with than the associated picture of Dave), and that the dog’s name was Suki. | |
