3rd July 1976 – the end of a hot and sunny afternoon’s cricket in Beddington
Park, and the victorious eleven gather for a memento of the occasion. Alan
Tickner (8 no.) and James Chignell (4 no.) had just seen the Badgers (78 for 5)
to a five wicket win over Cheam Parish (77 all out). Earlier in the piece Brian
Moore had taken five wickets and Dave Tickner had top-scored with 28.
